I tried to take some pictures of all the cars.. but after almost 600 pictures, I was too tired to take anymore. Hope you enjoy them.

These were the cars that occupied the same room as us.

I have never seen a gauge bezel cluster like this one.

    Another SR20DET powered 240SX

One of Import Revolution's Winner. Old School Mini Cooper.

The owner told me he was going to convert this NA to a single turbo.

    Interesting Yellow 1st generation RAV4.

This was a custom turbocharged Nissan Sentra SE-R. The owner just finished the installation 2 days before and had put only 30 miles since the conversion.

A Mustang that has received a little bit of publicity. I didn't know that 5 Zigen made parts for American cars.

The same yellow Celica from the day before.

Hmmm, what can I say about the Scion craze that's hitting the streets? It's cool that no one will be bored riding in this baby.

Some shots of the cars that were placed outside.

I didn't know what to make of this custom Chevy Cavalier. Aside from the customized front end, he painted the entire car with what I can best describe as "fleck stone" spray. The stuff that you can buy in the store to make a cabinet look like it was made from stone. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Team Incursion's Halloween Room

These folks had the whole room to themselves and made the most of it. They turned the entire room into a Halloween motif and they won the award for the best team display. I hope they remembered to pull everything out of their engine bays before they fired up the cars.

Damn!!! Look at all the awards that each team member has garnered in the past. Sheesh, that's absolutely hardcore. This team is definitely not fooling around. I wish I had that kind of money to throw around.

The Main Room

This was the main room where the awards ceremony was held and where the big vendors and their cars were displayed.

    A nicely modified Porsche 911.

You didn't think I'd post just car pictures, did you?

This Mazda RX-7 was sponsored by Mazda of America and was one of the show winners.

This Viper won 4 awards including best American car, best Super Sport modifed, and highest horsepower.

Brian Shultis won several awards for his 300ZX NA including best sound system.

Nice Mazda RX-7 Turbo II. I used to have one of these bad boys.

      Some nice Bimmers.

Both of these Integras were owned by employees of a plating shop. Everything that could be plated was plated. One of them won an award for best undercarriage. Just look at how clean these guys are. They are definitely daily-driven.... NOT!!! You can tell that they were so shiny, my camera had a hard time focusing on them. The plexiglass side-hinged hood is definitely different.

The above car won 4 awards for the owner. She has won best of show for the last several import shows. She has spent over $100,000 in this car. I am not kidding you. 6 digits worth of money has been spent on this car. Now you understand why it wins. I just have a problem spending that much money on one car and not having an exotic in the end. Oh well, it's not my money. I do have to say that this car is really impressive in person and my hat goes off to her for leaving no bolt unturned in this car.

Very nice Toyota Supra Twin Turbo.

    Hyundai factory sponsored Tiburon.

This Mercedes S600 AMG had spinning rims that were electrically powered and could be made to spin by hitting a switch. I think those rims cost more than my car.

Some night shots before the awards ceremony began.

    Are you tired Kevin?

Some of the people hanging around before the awards ceremony.

Mazda was one of the major sponsors of this year's Import Revolution.

Okay, for all of you that wanted me to post pictures of females, here you go. Two of the trophy girls. Uh, sorry for the bad focus, it was so crowded that I kept getting knocked around while taking pictures. Use your imagination.

Finally, it was the end of the night and we did our best to muster up the strength to take a group shot.

All-in-all, I enjoyed this event. I did not enter my car thinking that I was going to win an award. NO, I wanted to enter my car to show my love of Nissan cars and to show people out there that there are other cars other than Hondas and Acuras, which I can honestly say made up a large majority of the show. I would say about 55-60% of the cars were Hondas and Acuras. Just being able to get a picture in a magazine, or having people compliment us on our cars, or even when I hear, "Finally! I see some beautiful cars that are not Hondas and Acuras." Don't get me wrong, I like those cars as well as I have two of them and they make great daily drivers. It was nice to have my friends get organized and show up together to make a statement for Nissan cars. Honestly, just the compliments and the tons of camera snapshots of our cars made my attendance at this event worthwhile. I would definitely go to the next one as well. Hopefully, I'll have some money to do more with my car in the future.

Here are some of my gripes. Some people just could not keep their hand off my car. I had people putting fingerprints on my hard pipes, on my doors, and interior. One person kicked over my poster and my RC car and still another actually reached into my car and played with the power seat controls. I just don't understand people sometimes. My other gripe was the poor judging and the lack of consistency among the judges. I feel that judging should be by committee so that a high scoring judge and a low scoring judge can have their points all averaged together. My judge made me feel like he would rather be somewhere else. He seemed bothered by the whole thing. Whenever he asked me something about my car or describe what I modified, he didn't even let me finish my sentence. When I tried to mention my multimedia sound system, he cut me off and said he was done with my car. Hell, he didn't even check my undercarriage and wheels for cleanliness like the other judges. He spent a total of 1 minute on my car. Oh well, I wasn't  going to win anything anyways, but at least respect the owner and the machine. I hope to see more of the Nissan community at the next car show event to show that Nissan is "Driven." I hope you enjoyed all of the pictures... it takes a lot of work to take all those pictures.
